El Salto Lake is a scenic impoundment located on foot hill of Sierra Madre Mountains, itīs just 550 feet above Sea Level and only hour and half drive from Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico, on all paved roads, driving north. The lake was built on the Elota river and spans approximately 27,000.00 acres. The Weather averages normally around 82 degrees Fahrenheit. El Salto Lake was loaded around 15  years
ago with Largemouth Florida Bass, but because of the warm temperature
of the water, it turned into a very big and aggressive BASS! And
remember that El Salto Lake is very close to Mazatlan, just an hour
